Staff Attend Technology Conference

George C. Grape Community Hospital (GCGCH) sent nine staff members to the annual Healthland conference this year. The 2012 event was located in Orlando, Florida. The conference agenda included 3 days of classes, one-on-one training sessions, focus groups, and executive meetings.
GCGCH depends on Healthland as their software provider for capturing the entire patient process in a manageable electronic format. In addition to classes and training, the team was able to preview some new technologies that will eventually improve our patient care services. They were able to highlight some current software system issues with the executives from Healthland. Staff were also introduced to third party service vendors who offered new technologies and ideas for our improvement.
