LPN - Nursing

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The LPN works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Provide direct and indirect nursing care that addresses the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
-Deliver compassionate care while ensuring effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
-Observe, assess, and report changes in patients' conditions, including symptoms, responses to treatment, and diagnostic test results.
-Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient status and assist in implementing appropriate interventions.
-Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and facility policies.
-Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
-Assist in promoting a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
-Comply with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, hospital policies, and nursing procedures.
-Perform general nursing duties across multiple departments as assigned, with appropriate supervision and support.
-Participate as an active member of the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes and quality care.

Qualifications:

-Current Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
-Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
-Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
-Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing patient care needs.
-Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
