Respiratory Therapist
George C. Grape Community Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy Team!

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for respiratory therapy duties including oxygen administration, application of ventilators, arterial puncture, blood gas analysis, etc., and supervise the implementation of respiratory care in diagnostic and/or inpatient units. Consult with and assist physicians and nurses with respiratory care plan for patients and facilitate the implementation of the physician's orders. Monitor respiratory care provided by respiratory therapy technicians in diagnostic and/or inpatient units.

Graduate of an AMA approved two- or four-year professional therapist program and/or completion of the requirements to become registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care of National Society for Cardiopulmonary Technology is required.

Duties:
Application and monitoring of aerosol treatments
EZPAP
Bronchopulmonary Hygiene
Initiation and Monitoring of CPAP/BIPAP
Oxygen Titrations
Assisting with ABGs
Pulmonary Function testing
EKG
Holter Monitoring
Stress Testing
Sleep Studies
Pulmonary Rehab
Smoke Cessation Education
