Wound Clinic/Outpatient Therapy Nurse - Outpatient
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Wound Clinic and Outpatient Therapy team. This role is ideal for a nurse who is detail‑oriented, patient‑focused, and passionate about helping individuals heal and improve their quality of life. You will provide specialized wound care, outpatient therapies, patient education, and ongoing clinical support in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Clinical Care Duties:

- Perform comprehensive wound assessments for acute, chronic, surgical, and complex wounds.
-Develop and implement individualized wound treatment plans based on evidence‑based standards.
-Provide outpatient therapies including dressing changes, medication administration, and infusion therapy (if applicable).
-Monitor healing progress, document findings, and adjust care plans as appropriate.
-Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and therapists.

Patient Support & Education Duties:

-Educate patients and caregivers on wound management, infection prevention, and self‑care techniques.
-Provide guidance on lifestyle, nutrition, and chronic disease management to support healing.

Documentation & Coordination Duties:

-Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
-Assist with patient scheduling, follow‑up communication, and coordination of services.
-Ensure necessary wound care supplies and materials are available and properly stocked.

Quality & Safety Duties:

-Adhere to safety standards, infection control practices, and all regulatory guidelines.
-Participate in quality improvement efforts and ongoing clinical education.

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist patients as needed.
-Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
-Comfortable working with clinical equipment and in a healthcare environment.
